Listen

If I listen closely, I can hear...

~callings, from beyond~

~whispers on the wind~

~ancestral songs, footsteps, imprints~

~further existence~

~things being made new~

~my heart beating~

~breath, in & out~

~You, with me~

~unbroken peace~

~strength rising, from within & beneath~

and if I listen closely,

I can see the spirals,

and hear the song singing,

"listen for noises that have no sound"
