Flooded with Light

The light, it purifies.  Darkness has to flee.
It's a reflection of the nature of a thing.

It is a test, the fire - a trial.
How well can a thing perform under its pressure?

Isaiah's lips were touched by a live coal,
and the man was purified.
Purified so he could speak to the people.

The live coal purifies.
The dross separates and is poured off.

Just as it happens within us,
so also it happens within the world.

We see a day and age in which, once again,
evil is called good and good is called evil.

We see a day and age in which, once again,
the land cries out for the sins of its people.

The reaction, our reaction, to the heat
of the live coal -
Can we choose how we react under the pressure?

What exists within,
what we are made of,
comes to the surface.

Diamonds are made of the same substance
as coal and graphite...
For them to become what they are,
they are put under high heat and pressure...
a process that takes time.

Flooded with light, darkness has to flee.
The light causes clear vision.
Darkness cannot exist where light is.
