Tomorrow's Dreams...

I am participating in a weekly discussion of Mandy Steward's Tomorrow's Dreams Today, which Elora Nicole set into motion.  This poem is dedicated to all who are taking part in this.

- - - - - - - -

the story is happening,

we are going -

flowing with a river

ever rolling

 crumpling setbacks,

energizing creative juices -

this is what we are doing.

realities are rearranging,

daily adventures, we are creating -

moving beyond the

should-a could-a would-ing

uselessness eliminating,

in greatness we are engaging.

into unknown spaces

we are stepping,

trusting an invisible guide

pushing our fears aside,

we are letting

sweeping our inner cupboards,

stirring our souls,

awakening the dormant,

watching the soaring.

believing our every day

lives are inspiring

watching as

our dreams are occurring.

to our responsibility

we are responding.

marginal excuses,

not excusing.

lame reasons we can't

are being disproven,

as space we are making

and time devoting

 to the starting

of dream investing

accomplishments we are rewarding,

dream bending we are allowing,

melding them into our every day,

we are wielding our dreams this way

baby steps we are counting

towards the freedom there for the taking*

traveling, experiencing

right where we are

envisioning, imagining

taking ourselves far.

not waiting for tomorrow to come**,

we are todaying.
