Memories are a special gift
to cherish all your life,
To remember on a rainy day,
or think about at night.
They bring upon a happy thought
you can think about again,
Whenever you are feeling sad
or alone without a friend.
So store up all your memories

Sometimes we have to remember to "look", to really look, in order to keep things in memory for later. I think we also need to be selective in what we choose to keep in remembrance. I find that if I'm not careful, that my unhappy times are so easy to dwell on, but I have to choose to recall the good moments and memories of God's goodness to me.
