We celebrated the life of our dear cousin,
Charlyn Esi Minor,
November 18, 1979 - April 25, 2012
as we attended her
over the past week.
We are sad because we are going to miss her
but we find joy and gladness
knowing, trusting, in faith,
that she is at home with Jesus,
where she dancing, happy and free.
Esi left a legacy,
a legacy of love,
of putting others first,
of making phone calls,
sending cards and gifts.
She left us the memory
of her gorgeous smile,
her wonderful laugh,
her encouraging words.
She showed us
what is important in life:
God, family, friends.
My memories of Esi
make me smile,
and whenever I think of her
I want to be a better person.
Now she is at home
in the sky...
until we meet again, Esi,
we love you,
we can't wait to see you again,
in the bye and bye...
