The promises of God are eternal.

What are His promises?

A quick Google search reveals links that share some of the thousands of His promises.

Included in His promises are freedom, escape from corruption, adoption into His family, rest for our weary souls, shelter and deliverance, peace, everlasting and unconditional love, and eternal life.  How do we inherit His promises?  By accepting Jesus into our hearts as our Lord and Savior.

Once we do this, a whole new life opens to us.  There is hope, joy, love, peace, forgiveness, mercy and grace free for the taking.  We can be constantly made new, in our minds, souls and bodies as we look to Christ Jesus to transform us.   

It is a beautiful, ongoing process.

His mercies are new every morning.

I share these pictures and words today with my word for the year:

ETERNAL.

My focus this year will be on that which is eternal. 

Love is eternal.

Grace is eternal.

Joy is eternal.

The Kingdom of God is eternal.

Life here is temporary.

May this eternal kingdom impact me more so than ever to live an abundant life here on earth, keeping in focus that which really matters and lasts in the end.
